Surf Report – July 17, 2016

Memorable day of surf with good head high swell. Surfed a variety of waves all day with the changing tide and good winds all day ending with a spectacular sunset. Between the 4 of us, we surfed 3 distinct breaks. Did not even get over to the point today. Nice energy in and out of the water. Had some surf lessons with Roeland from Holland on a mellow A frame that is soft enough to teach a beginner during a head high swell. The wave pushes really soft until a fun little inside section overa rock near the beach. Other guests were surfing further up in KPs and said that they were getting at least 3 turns on every ride all morning. After eating and napping a bit we all went for a sweet sunset session out fron at the low tide reef with just us that ended with the kiss of a rainbow. Super stoked on today and looks like similar conditions lasting at least the coming week.024037091100104110136139152155163166179181008 a rock near the beach.
