Friday, April 04 Surf Report

So I wanted to give a gigantic special thanks to Keenan and Krod for the gobs of support over the last few months.  DSC08270We had unexplainable laughterIMG_3451Parties in and out of the waterIMG_4077An interview with a writer for the Nuevo Diaro which Kevin nailed!  Keenan offering his support with the rock star smile.  Thanks again guys for everything.  The timing of your visit was divine…or intervention…or something like thatDSC07734So Keenan left yesterday and Kevin left after one last surf session.  I walked to the store to get some things for breakfast and upon returning, I saw this.  KRod alone outback and it was looking sooooo fun.  I was wanting to paddle out and share the session, but I figured better to document it.  He is about to leave, not me. IMG_4427There were some insane lefts coming thru at head high, basically just a fast barrel rideIMG_4438 IMG_4439Below is about head highIMG_4455 IMG_4456 IMG_4458Toby and Roxy enjoying the morning on the beachIMG_4463And Krod’s first barrel on a surfboard ever…..so glad I did not paddle out!  My camera is not the best, so the pics are a bit blurryIMG_4484 IMG_4485 IMG_4486 IMG_4487 IMG_4488 IMG_4489 IMG_4490This was a nice head high barrel to thread throughIMG_4495 IMG_4496Nice lip on it….beautiful and powerful…for just a head high waveIMG_4497 IMG_4498 IMG_4499 IMG_4503 IMG_4527 IMG_4547The wind stayed offshore til about noon, then we had a very light seabreeze.  Still fair form up until sunset where it improved and glassed off….for a great variety of water texture.  It’s so much sweeter here in the middle…thanks for looking!
