Thursday, March 13 Surf Report

The surf is a consistent waist to head high with fair to good form outback.  Some fun barrel sections with the left and right working. The wind was calm to light offshore up until about noon and then the wind went onshore.  Main beach had a few peaks working. Last night there was a bit of a clean up right before sunset.

A couple of local kids are helping me around the property, so above he is on one of our rental boards.  He paddled out for about a half hour outback before we started painting. I think this was his first wave at Pistols ever. He is usually surfing over at the main beach.  He thinks that the wave is more powerful here at the Pistols break.
