This morning, after deciding that the surf was not that great outback we decided to go just down the road to our favorite semi secret reef spot. What we found – darn near perfect lefts and rights running chest high to 2 feet overhead. The hardest decision was which peak to choose as there were about 5 individual breaks looking fun. There was a tempting longboardy right just pushing and pushing along one stretch of rock reef. Down about 300 yards was an outer reef looking good. Straight in front of where we parked a few different peaks – 2 peaks with long lefts and the one down on the north end throwing an inconsistent killer barrel going right. What a super fun sesh. Broke my leash, broke a fin and almost knocked myself out with an epoxy rail to the back of the head. Lotta stars I saw at mid morning. What did you do today?
